Reading progress update: I've read 25%.
In order to make up my mind about what to read for Paradise Pier 30, I started sampling some of the options I'd come up with. This one ended up sucking me in once I realized that The ABC Murders had Hastings as a narrator and an affected narrator relates what happens to other people style. I'll read it eventually, but I wasn't in the mood for it, so Dragon Tattoo won. I didn't get much further in my sampling before I got sucked in, admittedly.
To be honest so far not much has happened, but I'm feeling compelled to read it to find out more about what the mystery is supposed to be about. I'm looking forward to figuring out how the characters relate to one another in the plot.
