I didn't really do my homework before picking up this book, so it really wasn't what I was expecting. Rather than offer a coherent argument throughout the book by a pair of authors, it's a collection of essays, each written by a different author, that refute various aspects of evolutionary psychology. I'll admit I skimmed significant chunks of it and skipped the rest of a chapter entirely when the author brought up some absolutely nonsense graphs. There were still a few interesting tidbits, which is why I'm being generous with the two stars, but it's really best to be avoided.
